THE SMART SNAIL DAYCARE

The mandate for this project was to make the plans for permits and construction, coordination with engineers, the city as well as the owner of the building and its tenant. The extension of the existing building and the enlargement of the windows was a challenge for this old building.

The layout of the "L'Escargot Futé" daycare was designed to provide a safe, stimulating space adapted to the needs of children. The architecture emphasizes conviviality, functionality and creativity, while integrating playful elements that promote learning and exploration.

The main entrance to the daycare is welcoming and inviting, with a spacious and bright reception area. Bright colours and playful patterns adorn the walls, creating a cheerful atmosphere as soon as the children and their parents arrive. Individual lockers are provided to store the children's personal belongings, thus promoting organisation and independence.

The indoor play space is designed to stimulate imagination and social interaction. Play areas are designed for different age groups, with adapted equipment such as slides, tunnels and play structures. Bright colours, soft and safe materials and abundant natural light create an environment conducive to exploration and learning.
