DAN HANGANU PARK COMPETITION

Our participation in this competition consists of presenting a commemorative trail that uses architectural tools to discover the work of Dan Hanganu. The trail begins with a pergola made of galvanized steel and iron mesh on the forecourt of the park, where the visitor is greeted by a multi-colored mosaic that projects graphic representations of the architect's work onto the ground. Then, the trail continues to a playground where models of Dan Hanganu's iconic works are transformed into play modules for children.

Multi-generational picnic tables, hammocks and swings are also set up in the lawns around the playground to encourage children and adults to use them.

The route continues with a red thread that winds between the trees towards the school, and plexiglass discs perched on flexible rods project colored shadows on the passage.

The plant strategy consists of preserving the canopy of existing trees and inserting new shrub and tree vegetation of the undergrowth type, thus creating refuge areas for animals. The biodiversity islands in the park have diverse vegetation that reveals the alternation of the seasons.
