LE TOLEDO BAKERY

The renovation project for the façade from the ground floor to the 3rd floor focused on restoring the building to its former appearance, highlighting its original architectural features.

The large terrace, which was an underused space, was redesigned with a modern approach while respecting the authenticity of the building.

In order to preserve traditional elegance, a wrought iron railing was added. This handcrafted railing adds a touch of authenticity to the whole, recalling the timeless charm of classical architecture. Finally, the exterior staircase, a crucial element for accessing the upper floors, has also benefited from careful renovation with weather-resistant materials.

Thanks to this well-thought-out renovation project, the original appearance of the building has been successfully restored, whilst incorporating modern elements to ensure the sustainability of its aesthetics and functionality.

We were then commissioned to design the interior of the Toledo artisan bakery, a spacious and bright space designed to offer a unique bakery experience to its customers.

The layout of the space has been optimized to provide smooth flow through the store, while allowing customers to easily discover the products on offer.

The bakery has been designed to maximize functionality while providing a pleasant environment for customers and staff. Preparation and service areas are separated to ensure a clean and hygienic bakery experience.

We also had the mandate to supervise the work which was carried out by Unigesco which took care of the complete interior and exterior work.

The renovated building is now a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, bringing new life to this facade on Wellington Street in Verdun, Quebec.
